Position Summary

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual that can help us maintain continuous operations while improving our Salesforce platform designed to improve the end user experience. This role comes with the opportunity for increased responsibility and the chance to absorb knowledge and grow as a salesforce administrator.

Essential Job Functions

  • All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules.
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports.
  • Sandbox environment management.
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
  • Create a platform roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders.
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
  • User support tickets.
  • Monitor and improve user adoption.
  • New user and ongoing user training. 
  • Technical documentation.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access; U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or industry certifications.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator Certification Required. 
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes.

 

Desired/Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to gather business requirements for the application.
  • Understanding of a previously built third party system and the interactions of objects.
  • Ability to create objects and determination of relationships needed.
  • Experience with implementation of Workflows and process builders to fit business needs.
  • Ability to Create change sets to move metadata from sandbox to production environment.
  • Experience with implementation of Data Loader to load historic data for business testing.
  • Ability to create custom page layouts, compact layouts, validation rules, record types, buttons, search layouts, and lighting record pages.

 

Pay Scale:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $28.85 p/h - $36.06 p/h

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).

 

 Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
