Position Summary

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to assist the Facility Manager with daily facility operations. The job consists of both maintenance and administrative duties including assisting with day-to-day operations, set-up/breakdown of company events/meetings, completing facility inspections, maintaining equipment, and conducting inventory. 

 

Shifts may be during the day, at night or on-call.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct frequent facility inspections.
  • Assist with creating and implementing facility policies.
  • Assist in development of facility safety protocols and environmental responsibility plans.
  • Consistently conduct preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and track facility work orders until resolved.
  • Liaison with landlord, property managers, and maintenance service providers.
  • Escort service technicians and other facility visitors.
  • Coordinate service contracts and ensure they are executed.
  • Purchase supplies and services related to custodial, maintenance, office equipment, and furniture needs.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• 2-4 years of Facilities work experience.
• Ability to demonstrate competent knowledge of building systems including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevator, security, and warehouse systems.
• Ability to proactively identify and troubleshoot facility issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with issue ticketing systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with procurement and expense tracking.
• Willingness to engage in manual labor and work with hands.
• Willingness to have a flexible schedule to support early/late service visits and emergency situations.
• Must be a self-starter with efficient follow-through skills.
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to independently prioritize tasks, anticipate needs, initiate appropriate action, and exercise good judgment.

 

Pay Scale:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.00 p/h - 28.85.00 p/h

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).

 

Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required as well as on-call hours for emergencies. Additional details on theprecise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
