Position Summary

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC (FDTS) is seeking a Warehouse Technician. This position requires performing receiving, shipping, inventory control, pulling and delivering orders to the customer. Best-in-class customer service skills are a must for this multifaceted role! 

 

You must have an active TS/SCI clearance for consideration of this position. 

 

The Warehouse Technician will self-motivate, take pride in their work, and be detailed oriented with demonstrated proficiency in Excel and web-based applications in order to join the FDTS family.

 

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee the customer’s inventory and responsible for receiving, shipping, location, and accuracy of inventory.
• Ensures material handling equipment is inspected and meets safety standards.
• Responsible for pulling, loading/staging, delivering and unloading all deliveries to the customer.
• Must be willing to make deliveries in a 26’ straight truck to customer’s warehouses located in Maryland and surrounding states when called upon.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must have 2 or more years warehouse or supply chain experience.
• Must respond to inquiries and maintain clear communication with the customer.
• Must be able to travel to assigned facilities. While deliveries are generally performed during normal business hours, the candidate must have flexibility for rush orders outside of business hours.
• Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets and web-based applications.
• Must be physically prepared to regularly lift up to fifty pounds, stoop, kneel, crawl and perform repetitive duties.

 

Desired/Preferred Skills:
• Excel Certification
• Warehousing Certification

 

Pay Scale:

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $33.65 p/h - 38.46 p/h

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).

 

Working Conditions:
Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:
Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
