Position Summary

FedData Technology Solutions, LLC is seeking an Account Manager for Army Programs.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develop sales leads and opportunities in the Army.

2. Begin generating revenue and margin through completed sales deals.

3. Further FDTS relationship with FedData OEM partners with Army customers.

4. Establish permanent FDTS presence in the Army.

5. Develop sales leads and opportunities in other regions as permitted by the FedData Army Sales Exec.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • There is no clearance required for this position. 
  • 10 Years DoD /Federal Engineering and/or Sales Experience.
  • 10 years experience developing IT Solutions for DoD/Federal Environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to manage the sales process and forecast sales.
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and developing new business.
  • Ability to frequently travel both CONUS and OCONUS. 50 Percent Travel Expected.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns.
  • Planning, organization and problem-solving skills

 

Pay Scale:

The salary for this position ranges from $135,000 - 150,000. The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). This position is also eligible for commission.

 

Work Schedule:


Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

 

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
